Default a few things from Marshall Fogel

Posted By: leon

I have been speaking with Marshall the last few days and he has been kind enough to send a few things over to post.....The Horner Wagner was very dark when I got it...maybe I can get him to send a better scan....this one doesn't do it justice.....enjoy...(the team pic is the 1919 Black Sox)....

Having resumed breathing, let me ask, how many penny packs of Big League Gum were there in a box??

And if I dig out a 1920s quarter, can I buy 25 packs?

I don't have anymore info, sorry bout that. On the Goudey box I believe that picture is from Woody Gelman, who I believe was part of Goudey at one time. I am not sure if Marshall owns the original Goudey picture or not.....I thought it was really cool either way.....

I believe that there are 4 known first generation originals.

Who's on the 2nd cabinet portrait?

Isn't the second photo Jesse Burkett's Ramly pose?

Trae- there are several first generation Horner photos in existence. just means it was printed from the original plate (or negative).
