Default "Pinhead" cards

I typically don't like cards where the player's face is so small that you need a loupe to make it out in any detail (at my age anyhow). Here are some great examples, with a couple of post-war thrown in. Any favorites?

Not mine any longer but Kelly on the bottom left doesn't have a very substantial head as opposed to Donovan, who is literally all head.

I love action and full-body pics on cards, I guess the face isnt that important to me on an individual card as there are usually other cards of the player where I have seen the face and i know what he looks like.

Just ran across this very worthy candidate. His face may take up 1/500th of the card.

That's one thing I like about old minor league cards...the photographers sucked. I find that card cool for some reason.

Here is another example that I like (not minor league obviously).

The size of the head is large in relation to the size of the card, but Veach in this W9316 has a small head in relation to his body, in my opinion.

Even if it is not pinheaded like Peter was mentioning (head so small that it is tough to make out details), I think Veach qualifies due to the artwork lacking details.

The Judge Topps Now Card from his home run at Citi. If the pic on the front isn’t small enough the back is taken from the stands.

"Pinhead" was a 60's term. It was also a slide and shell.....

Melchoir has sort of a pinhead but that isn't really anything compared to his running style. Reminds me of a board member I saw running at the National one time. I laughed.

Many cards in the D304 set seem awfully pinheaded to me. Still like them, bless their pinheadedness.

Since we're including modern / post-War cards here, gotta say we've always thought that at least
two thirds of the cards in the 1969 Nabisco Team Flakes set (little bitty things to start with)
would qualify for "pinhead" status:
