Default 2012 Catalogue Updates

Just started going through my recently arrived catalogue and have already noticed 2 changes in set dates that have been discussed heavily on this board. The Big Head Strip Cards have changed from 1916-20 to 1918-20, which seems like it is more accurate. The Novelty Cutlery postcards have gone from 1907-09 to 1907-10, which might be closer to the truth but still may be off.

Just noticed another issue date change on the W514 strip cards from 1919-1921 to 1920-21. Could this have a major negative impact on the Black Sox cards if premiums had been placed on these because they represented the 1919 Black Sox from the same season as the scandal?

W514s

Matters a little perhaps Phil. They did play the 1920 season... Imagine the road trips' jeers and barbs they experienced in that long season., Though Cobby and Spoke were likely mute

On August 3, 1921, the day after the players were acquitted, Landis issued his own verdict:

Regardless of the verdict of juries, no player who throws a ball game, no player who undertakes or promises to throw a ball game, no player who sits in confidence with a bunch of crooked ballplayers and gamblers, where the ways and means of throwing a game are discussed and does not promptly tell his club about it, will ever play professional baseball.

1917 Youth's Companion was completely removed, I think. The image on the stamp is not Babe Ruth; it's another HOF southpaw, Rube Marquard.
