Take the entire lot of RPPC's below for $200 delivered. all (3) are terrific shots..
Thx, Tony
andreatny@q.com

Rppc #1 -
Baseball game being played in Luxemburg Wisconsin. Postally stamped 1913 on reverse. Nice image with horse and buggies in the background.

Rppc #2 -
Great shot of rodeo star John Henry riding a horse named Funeral Wagon (great name) at the Lloyds Street baseball grounds in Kansas City. Scoreboard in the
background has a Boston Garter ad topper displaying the score between the Yankees and the Giants. Possibly the 1923 WS?? Postally unused.

Rppc #3 -
Just won this one on Ebay. Being a Buck Weaver fan I made the mistake of thinking this may had been him (wishful thinking I know). Once finding out it's actually
Harry Lord of the 1911 White Sox I really don't need it. Nice image none the less even though it's not Buck. Postally stamped 1911 on the reverse.

Default One day hartland sale - groat + colavito!

Special one day sale for Net54 Members....

I plan to post these 3 Hartlands on Ebay tomorrow, but am offering better prices here (one day only), hoping to sell without Ebay's final value fees. I don't mind PayPal fees, if that's your preferred method of payment here on the B/S/T.

First is the rarest Hartland... the coveted Dick Groat with original Bat. Made in the fewest numbers, it remains the "Holy Grail" to Hartland and Baseball figural collectors. It stands perfectly, and has none of the typical scuffs/marks/repairs/etc. that you normally see.

It's got a touch of creaminess to the color, giving it a rich and gorgeous vintage look. Definitely on the high end of the condition spectrum (and priced to sell). A rare chance to finally acquire the Groat - for those who have procrastinated or held out for one that's semi-affordable.

Dealers and Catalogues get $1,200 - $1,300 for this piece, but the price here is $869. This is a beautiful example with no detractors of significance.

Second is the Rocky Colavito with original Bat, which is easily the second rarest Hartland Statue. The Colavito is normally prone to condition problems, such as missing or warped Toe Plate, doesn't stand on its own, missing the original Bat, scratched/scuffed/etc.

Not so with this one... it has the original Toe Plate, original Bat, and stands rock solid (very rare for the Colavito statue). 90% of those you see pictured are "propped up". There are absolutely no scratches, scuffs or marks, which is also rare. The uniform is a bit creamy in color, giving it a beautiful warm vintage look. This one is exceedingly clean.

Colovito is priced at $399

Last is the much more common Warren Spahn Statue. Another beauty, this one is just a tiny touch off-white in color, and has no condition issues. Please make note of glare from camera flash... there are NO scuffs or scratches at all (I was very picky when acquiring these!) It stands fine, and is extremely clean. A great one for an upgrade, for the collector who's looking to do so.

Spahn is priced at $79

Although these are priced very aggressively, I can offer further discounts, if you buy multiples....

All 3 for $1,295
Groat and Colavito for $1,225
Groat and Spahn for $925
Colavito and Spahn for $455

Free shipping is included... Please do not try to negotiate any further discounts, as these prices are rock-bottom.

Remember that this is a one-day only sale. If you just can't pull the trigger, look for them on ebay Sunday night, under the seller name "perezfan". They will be priced slightly higher on ebay, to cover the added listing costs.

Thanks for looking!

Default Awesome T.O.C. Lathe Bat - Unique!

Here's a neat offering you don't see often... one of the earliest Lathe Bats I can recall seeing. Based on the wood, and the blunt barrel-end, I am estimating this Bat to be from the 1900 - 1910 era. The Bat's end is flat.. not rounded like more recent models from the 1920s - on.

The condition is superb... ultra tight and handsome grain, and no chips, cracks, etc. Just a near-perfect example!

The unfinished portion of the knob-end is longer than on most lathe bats... measuring 3 1/2" in length. The Bat portion itself measures 33 1/2"... for a total length of 37". A very cool piece to display, and demonstrate insight as to how these bats were made.

This is a rare piece that would fit beautifully with any Vintage or Antique Bat collection. The price is $229 + $9.50 shipping = $238.50 total.

Please email or PM, if interested. Best offers considered, but please make them reasonable. If you need a reference, please contact Leon, or check my feedback under ebay seller, "perezfan".

Thanks for looking,
Mark
