Default Retirement Auction: Newnan, GA May 27-29

With the ok from Leon, I wanted to post a Auction in Newnan, Georgia on May 27-29
It may or not have any baseball items, I don't know but
Still a very nice collector auction for all sorts of other memoribillia. It be fun to go to it. Was wondering if any others nearby are attending?
I may be going to it, not sure tho yet, but theres still time to plan.
Also, theres a wax musueum that could be worth visiting it says.

Heres the link to the auction: http://www.prestonopportunities.com/

It is always OK by me (the board anyway) to post these kinds of things. No one needs any approval to do so. There is no rule against it. As we have often discussed, outing auctions that are current can have many effects. But the board has no policy except not to spam your own (or a friends) stuff for that sole purpose. Knock on wood, the board has usually been pretty good about that. Plus, over the years we have learned to "sniff" quite well.

ps...I didn't know this wasn't cards when I made the above comment ....

Looks pretty cool. Hwy 85 is a nice Country road drive. Many bike clubs travel it from Atlanta to Columbus or even farther into Alabama. Speaking of the Little White which was FDR's home. Can anyone tell me what the secretary room was for? You have to take the tour to know that one!

I think I've driven by the auction's entrance where they have an old Indian motorcycle up high on a sign/Billboard. Maybe the Cotton Pickin Fair will be going on in Gay, Georgia at the same time! All off the same road.

Thanks for posting about it, and with good weather I think I'll make the trip!!
