Default 25" x 13" Fatima Felts - 2 Harvard 1 Yale

Here's something I know little about but based on I've never seen them this 25' X 13" size and a reference I found somewhere on the web (maybe here) I think this size is very rare....but I'm sure three at a time is even more rare...I've seen the smaller felts like these aplenty over the years but I'm into bigger stuff, posters and signs and such...but these large ones I like...I just picked them up like an hour and a half ago...Below the photos I took with my cell phone a couple weeks ago in the store..

I found these a couple weeks ago at a local antiques store...two Harvard ones and one Yale...I had the clerk take them out of the case and examined them...It made me nervous there were three and thought maybe they were repros because they are in such nice shape...I left without them but they've been on my mind. Today I went in and bought all three...There is a little fading on some of the creases...and one of the Harvard ones has a little bit of staining...most people wouldn't want stains but they convinced me they were old..Gal had them on consignment and said knows the consigner and that they came out of the bottom of a trunk full of stuff from the 1920's..One of the Harvard ones has a Fatima stamp on the back..

Out of the same trunk was a bunch more tobacco felts and silks...like a 5" stack...but they were flags and indian design and so on...few University ones but nothing like the ones I got...Guess I'll keep one Harvard and one Yale and move the other Harvard on eBay...

Those are cool Carlton. They might be the biggest felts I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing and congrats on the pick ups....
