Default What cards are part of your Monster Number?

I always wondered this, for those picking away at the Monster, maybe with numbers from 50 to 300 or so, what ones do you have?

Do you focus on random cards, picking them up as you go and scratching it off your list?

Or do you try to go after the southern leaguers or HOFs, or the tough commons? maybe a certain team first or a master team set? There are definitely a lot of ways to collect it.

So far since I've restarted collecting the Monster, I've tried to focus on Hall of famers -- I have 174 total, 57 are Hall of Famers. I do try to pick up the commons as well.

Also, I do have Elberfeld (Was) and Lundgren (Cubs)

For the people who have completed it, going for 518 or 520 etc. -- What was your game plan? I do envy the people who collected it early, some amazing prices back then.

Ironically the person with the most posts on the forum hasn't posted in the thread with the most posts. At any rate, my guess would be a combination of different ways.
