Default D351

I was reading this article.

http://www.oldbaseball.com/refs/burdick_again.html

And in it, it mentions D351 as an extremely rare card set. So rare Burdick didn't own any but Carter did own three. Does anyone have pictures or information on this set.

Thanks,

Jake

I didn't know this set existed until you posted. Interesting set.

Did you get them from auctions, because I can't seem to find any transactions with them?

D351 is one of the few types I need. Until I get a D355 it doesn't matter.....but after that I am going to pester Dan so much he won't be able to not let me get one.

I believe there was a D351 in an old Lipset auction but don't recall seeing anymore for sale. Same thing with D355 Niagara Baking....

No not from auctions, from long time collectors in the hobby, that collected them long before garbage 3rd party grading was formed.

Here is my post when I acquired the last one:

Let me know if your ever interested in selling. I may not have the funds, depending on the price, but I would like to know.

Hey Dan,
I'm still kicking myself for trading the D351 #7 of WaJo that you now own to Al Strumpf back in February 1998. I still have this photocopy reminder of it, along with a hand-written note by Lew Lipset.
Best,
Val
