Here's an interesting strip card.
Hardly a variation, just li'l Spanky had a bad scissor day:




What it indicates to me is that not only where these made and sold in horizontally strips, but also printed vertically.

Whereas, there are many uncut sheets (ie w512, w565) with this allignment:

1-2-3-4-5
6-7-8-9-10
11-etc.


Some of the 10 card strips sheets had to be printed:

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10
etc.

Sure, I know, all very obvious ............ but, does anyone have a baseball top border example ????????????????

It looks like a factory miscut to me. Why would they sell repeating sheets to a kid? I'd think it more likely it was a 10 card horizontal strip.

I am curious were their fake boxing strip cards as well? It is weird that there were so many w551 baseball fakes produced and many of them are sitting in sgc and psa slabs. Very odd to me...

Frankly, I can't imagine anyone bothering. As far as I know only Scott and I collect them. Seriously, I haven't seen any fakes from this set, perhaps because with the exception of Dempsey none of them fetch more than ten bucks each unless a specialist/insane person like me or Scott need it for some ill-conceived master set idea.
