You can see NYY #32 and 25 warming up in the background, but the internet seems to think that no one wore those numbers for the Yankees in 1931.

Jimmy Reese wore #25 in 1930, but that's as close as I've found.
32 was shared by: Bill Karlon, Ken Holloway, and Frank Barnes in 1930.

I guess they wore different uniforms for exhibition games?

I was also checking out the uniform numbers but they really didn't make much sense. Mayne this wasn't 1931.
