Default Baseball postcard cancellation dates...

Posted By: Kevin Struss

I do not know very much about postcards and have been trying to do some research on the issue dates of some of my favorite postcard issues. I am basically trying to find out what are the earliest cancellation dates that that have been seen on the following issues:

PC765 AC Dietsche
PC796 Sepia
HM Taylor
Novelty Cutlery
Rose
Wolverine

Any help is appreciated. Scans would great.

Thanks, Kevin

The Rose Company had been producing postcards for a few years before they decided to use baseball players as subjects in mid-summer of 1908. I have not seen an earlier post mark than July 1908.

Kevin -

Most postcard questions wind up directed to Robert S (http://vintageball.com/). He's like a yogi on the mountain top, at least when it comes to PC's. Good luck.
