Default Help with a "Star of David" Shortstop baseball pin

Hello all...... I'm hoping someone might be able to give me a little background information on this pin.I haven't seen one like it before.I believe it's fairly old,it came in a lot with pins from the 1910's and 20's.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.... edtiques

The only thing I can think of is it might be from the early Maccabiah (jewish) Games...

I’m not an expert in the area, But I thought what we commonly consider today as the six pointed Jewish star was used in the past for totally non Jewish related uses.

I tend to agree with Steve. I don't think it meant anything Jewish related.
