Look at it this way: if the other three corners were chopped,
it'd likely be a 7.5!

The whole bottom of the case is frosted out. It's been cracked.

New category - Probstein123 Certified Low-End.

But being serious, how are they opening the "improved" slabs?

I know they are a high-volume dealer but how do you not even put something in the description about this card?

I can only imagine a description. "nice for the grade with note to corner wear"

This was my first thought but why would someone replace a 6.5 with a 1 or a card that shouldn't even be graded. Typically the scammers use a reprint that at least looks like it should be the same grade.

Maybe testing the waters? To see how much of an obvious difference between the flip and the actual card matters. Either for using counterfeit cards or lesser condition ones down the line.

Default Card

Someone showed this card to me at the last Valley Forge show. The case is not cracked but appeared to be a data entry error during the grading process.

I would send it back to PSA and get it in the correct holder and get some grading vouchers for the trouble.
