That same thing happened to a card shop in San Diego about 20 or so years ago. A woman hit the gas instead of the brake, and drove her car into the shop, taking out the front door and front windows, and at least two display cases full of cards. The shop had previously been owned by Dave and Patty Shore, and was a really good one.

IIRC, no one was injured in it either.

Notice the handicap plate on the car. Unfortunately stupidity is not a handicap! How many of you have 'accidentally' hit the gas instead of the brake? No one I know ever has. My parents in their late 70's and mid 80's and perfect driving records.
