Default scripted old judge question

Posted By: ali_lapoint

i picked up a lot the other day, not from ebay or bst, and in it was an old judge that at first i thought it was your run of the mill beater old judge. however now i realize the type on the front is in script and not print. anyone know if this is typical? or did i run into something special? would post a scan but i dont have a camera.

Default scripted old judge question

Posted By: MEWheat

The Script Series were one of the two main issues from 1887 with the players name written in "script". I am not a N172 expert - and perhaps Joe G. or someone with more knowledge can speak up - but the Script cards were from the two New York teams and includes the desirable Spotted Ties subset and I think 3 cards of $10K Kelly.
