Default T210's Series 8 Collector (Nashville)

Posted By: Jeremy

Hey Guys -

I collect the series 8 Nashville players and I must say Frank seems to be on the money as this 17 player "sub set" seems to be a long term venture for me (I can't imagine going for the whole series)! So far I have 7 of the 17 Nashville Minor Leaguer's. I am also collecting the T211 Red Sun Nashville Players as well and they match up card for card with the T210's. I have been collecting these 2 sets for 1 year now and have 9 of the Total 17 players to show for it. I usually run across 1-2 T210 Series 8 Nashville players a quarter, so for frequency sake I would say if I can get half dozen cards a year, I am doing pretty well. Maybe some of the other Minor Leaguer's are easier/harder to collect with in this Series 8... I would love to hear from anyone out there that is putting certain cities together as I am just curious what type of frequency they are having. Obviously, some are better hunters than others... The Red Borders Series 8 is challenging to say the least... BTW - If anyone has any T210/T211 Nashville players for sale, trade, etc. don't hesitate to contact me ! (jeremyj70@comcast.net)

Default T210's Series 8 Collector (Nashville)

A fun way to collect t210's. Finished my T210-1 Savannah sub-sub-set about a year ago, probably took me a year to do. Only had 13 to get (12 Savannah, and Schulze listed as Macon, but wearing Sav. sweater). I know the series have been broken down by difficulty on net54 before. Although I can't find it now, I seem to remember series 8 as a tougher one (series 1 in the middle). It's doable, and relatively affordable (unless you run into another Nashville guy ) Sorry I can't help you out with cards, but good luck.

Jeremy, I am doing the Alabama players. I have acquired 5 this year, but I am often outbid. I have a Bronkie (Nashville), but it is cut in half and has a clipped corner. If you have an equally bad Alabama card I'll trade you.

Default T210's Series 8 Collector (Nashville)

I collect the Chattanooga players in the 8th series and I think they are tougher than the Nashville cards and I have no idea why. I pick up the Nashville players as well when I find them and it seems easier to find Vols than it is Lookouts.

By the way, anyone have any Chattanooga players???
