He Changed :

1) the title from “Babe Ruth Rookie card with Rare Back “ to “ Babe Ruth 1916 Rookie card # 151 H.Weil Baking Company. Boston Red Socks (sic)

2) the description to include that the card will be sent to authenticate and encapsulate

3) the price from $1,785,000 to $1,885,000.

Notice how he bypasses eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee program by offering free local pick-up.

Nothing says genuine quite like spelling the baseball Sox as "Socks"

I'd be interested if he had kept it protected in a screwdown holder.

Desiderata

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.

I think the seller accidentally got his decimal point in the wrong place. He probably meant for the price to be $18.85 which, with free shipping, is somewhat reasonable.

Well done. Ninety cents more than I would have offered.

Check the seller's other e-bay items for sale, some other key vintage Ruth cards/images, just not ones that I have ever seen in baseball card format before.

He must work in a nail salon or a wood shop. He does such a great job rounding the corners.
