Default Who'se your LEAST favorite singer/ band/ actor?

The other thread got me thinkin......Kid (effing) Rock, I could live without, (talk about talentless).

Never cared much for any rappers or country.

Heavy Metal always seemed overrated to me.

Have you seen less than zero? It just ruined all his stuff after for me, like Ned Beatty in Deliverance only worse.

Justin Beiber and Jim Carrey.
As a proud Canuck living and working in China, I am reminded at least once a week that these two pathetic excuses for "talent" also hail from The Great White North. It's embarrassing.

I'd have to say Adam Sandler or Pauly Shore - two terrible actors.

Check out Kiss,Kiss,Bang,Bang. It might just save RDJr for you. Absolutely great flick...

People I hate....Hmmm. Yeah, musically, just about most current acts...Scott Stapp comes to mind first and foremost though. Absolutely love Creed, however he's grown into a vocal caricature of his old self...He caught a few things that worked, then suddenly overdid it, to the point where he sounds ridiculous(the rest of the band still sounds great though)... Newer Metallica also bugs me. Just comes off as forced to me..

Actor-wise. I'd say, I hate Val Kilmer, despite the fact that I LOVE most movies he's been in. Dude just annoys me, but has chosen some great roles over the course of his career. Tom Cruise also bugs me, possibly to the point, where I can't even enjoy his movies anymore..

This entire post would have made perfect sense 15 years ago when all of the above mentioned were actually relevant. No offense, just an observation. Also what's with all the Green Day hate (not you novakjr, just in general)? Kei$ha, Bieber, Miley are obvious choices. I'd add the geek from Big Bang Theory and Kevin Hart (he tries soooo hard and is just not funny) for me.

Taylor Swift. Listen, bitch, if 100 guys have cheated on you, maybe you're the problem?

Bieber, too. I'm not a hateful guy, but if he pulled a James Dean, I don't think I'd shed a tear. And if Miley Cyrus's twerking ass happened to be in the passenger seat, my eyes would still be dry.

Dave Matthews Band - I actually liked the first song I ever heard from them in 1996. The problem is, I've heard 100 other songs that sound just like that one and each other. I can't decide whether the songs are the same, or if it is just Dave's droll voice that makes them sound that way. Either way, I'll pass.

Not a fan of Keanu, Glyn? What is it, his complete lack of acting range?

Speed, bus racing down the highway, the overpass is missing a big part of road.

Keanu "whoa!"

The Devil's Advocate. "Your father, ably played by Al Pacino, is the devil himself! That's why you've won every single case you've taken. No matter how evil the defendant, you just keep on winning because lucifer is pulling strings!

Keanu "whoa!"

The Matrix. "Neo, you are the chosen one! You are the one that will save mankind. Everybody that has gone against Agent Smith has died, but you, being the chosen one, can defeat him!"

Keanu "whoa!"

The guy who plays Hodor on Game of Thrones, though he can only say his own name, still displays more acting range than Keanu.

It's funny, because I've liked most of the movies he's done. But he's never been the reason why.

I look at him, and shake my head when I remember that he's a millionaire several times over while displaying the acting chops of my neighbor's shih tzu.

Default Nail hit squarely on the head

He does somehow pick movies that his terrible acting often does not ruin.

I just happened to turn on Cinemax. 3 am, and the aforementioned Devil's Advocate is on. Assuming you've seen the movie, it's the scene early on where Keanu has just returned to the apartment in NYC after the trial he helped select the jury for has ended. He's sitting there on the couch while Charlize is consoling him for what she assumes is a loss (ie guilty verdict). There's a few seconds where there's nothing going on, and I'm reminded once again how awful he is. I had to pick up the remote to make sure I hadn't accidentally hit pause or something. Nope, the movie was still playing. It just seemed like it had been paused because he's incapable of showing any emotion at all with his face.

I still love this movie though, because Pacino is absolutely evil, and Charlize Theron is absolutely hot. They are capable of carrying the movie.

Actor: Andie McDowell

. . . ever since I saw her do an interview about her Western Bad Girls (1994). She got on an anti-gun rant; said she couldn't wait until a scene was finished so she could throw her gun on the ground. No doubt so that she'd have both hands free to grab the money she was making.
