Default unknown 49ers "cards" wax texture

I was wondering if anyone had seen cards of this type before. The entire piece measures about 2.5 inches by 6 inches. Thick stock that has a waxy feel, blank back. First thought is that it might have been a local set that was on the back of a milk carton.

Soltau played with the 49ers from 50-58, Maderos in 55 and 56.

I believe they are cards from the side of a milk carton from Christopher Dairy Farms from the SF area. Vintage 1950's.

As Jeff says, these were issued by Christopher Dairy Farms in 1955. There were two player cards pictured on each milk carton side panel measuring approximately 2 1/2" x 3".

The cards were part of a Junior 49ers Booster club promotion. The following text was on each carton: Boys and Girls - Be a 49'ers booster. Join Christopher milk Jr. 49'er club at your grocer and follow your favorite 49'er player on Christopher Picture-Pak carton.

I think there are 33 different (known) cards in the set. Because they were issued in pairs, that list maybe incomplete.
