Default c.1905 Carl Horner Cabinet of Kip Selbach for sale - SOLD

Posted By: Richard

I am selling two c.1905 cabinets of Boston player Kip Selbach.

The portrait is a Carl Horner cabinet and the full body shot is by Sauney. The image quality on both is really nice. The Horner cabinet does have some tiny pin holes at the top edge of the mount that you should be able to see. The Sauney has a really clean front. The backs on each cabinet have a tiny string attached on the top with a piece of tape. There is also a slight shadowing of an image on the back as it seems that the cabinets were stored for years stacked. Otherwise backs are clean. No writing, no creases, etc.

The Horner measures 5" x 7.25" and the Sauney measures 7" x 9". I believe that both date to 1905. Selbach played for Boston from late 1904 to 1906.

I am looking to sell these as a pair only. Open to offers.
