Retired government lawyer currently volunteering part-time at a golf course for free play. But, that may be coming to an end as I look to need rotator cuff surgery to continue playing. Also, seeking part-time teaching position at local community college.

Default SEO Technology Sales

I am in the Search Engine Optimization Business (SEO)

In plain english, I help get the websites of company's, where online traffic is very important, to rank higher in the search engine results. For as many keywords as they feel are important.

typing in "baseball card auctions" will only show 10 results on page 1(which is where 90% of the clicks happen). So if your website is not on page 1, your missing out on 90% of the traffic for that keyword. The technology I sell analyses your website, detects problems, and makes recommendations on what is needed to optimize for each keyword.

Now whos interested!

Jamie

I'm a broadband service technician, which is a fancy way of saying I'm a cable guy.

Actually, I'm not working now due to an on-the-job injury (a dog bit me on the hand and took some of the tip off one of my fingers). So I'm beginning to explore other options...like the fact that I've been an occasional writer and have plenty of time to do that now.

Default TV for me

TV- I don't watch much, but couldn't buy baseball cards without it...

I am in cable TV w/large company. Engineering manager specializing in advanced video services. No one listens to me when I mention my great idea for a 24 hour-High Definition Baseball Card Channel.
Net54 could be in primetime!
As a matter of fact, no one listens to most of my ideas but so far, there's a payday every two weeks

Default Mark Twain

"What work I have done I have done because it has been play. If it had been work I shouldn't have done it. Who was it who said, "Blessed is the man who has found his work"? Whoever it was he had the right idea in his mind. Mark you, he says his work--not somebody else's work. The work that is really a man's own work is play and not work at all. Cursed is the man who has found some other man's work and cannot lose it. When we talk about the great workers of the world we really mean the great players of the world. The fellows who groan and sweat under the weary load of toil that they bear never can hope to do anything great. How can they when their souls are in a ferment of revolt against the employment of their hands and brains? The product of slavery, intellectual or physical, can never be great."
