Default 1950s Cleveland Indians Baseball Jeans PC - Rocky Colavito

Late 1950s Cleveland Indians Baseball Jeans Postcard of Rocky Colavito. Still not sure about distribution, whether this was given away at store events to promote the product, or made available to kids some other way. Unlike more common Indians PCs from 1950s-60s, I've only ever seen one other example from this set, Ray Narleski. Would love to see other examples and learn more details about this set if any other board members have this PC Type in their collections.

@CHIPROP

most people know that I want a Red Cobb REALLY bad and that's an understatement. Nothing against you and hope you find humor in this quote:

"There was no fraternizing in the old days. I never talked with an opposing player for three years after I broke in with Louisville but one day when the Giants were playing us, Gore, the left fielder, hit home runs the first two times up. I was playing left field for Louisville and when I passed him on the way in when the inning was ended, I said in a kindly spirit"
"Nice hits there, Gore."
He turned around and gave me one of the hardest looks I've ever had and growled: "Go to hell.""

You guys have some real rarities! I can't say this is a one of a kind, but it's probably my rarest card. I'm assuming it's authentic because it's trimmed, but I can't tell. I couldn't have afforded it otherwise.

Awesome card. Jaime (who also owns one) mentioned that there are 3 known Cobb/ Drum cards. So now we know where two of them are. I wonder who owns the third. David Hall, perhaps?

Thanks Craig. One of three known from the "200 card set" advertised by Mendelsohn in 1917, the others were Matty and WaJo (although I may have info about a 4th). I won it in a Lipset auction ten years or so ago. I went to Lew's house to see it in person, along with lots of other wonderous cards, mostly because I didn't think I would win it and thought that was as close as I would get. I've since seen/held the Matty, but not Walter. The Schalk is now in an SGC 60 holder, and should be in the pop report as well as the SCD book. My favorite card.

Johnny, I bet you wouldn't have any problem knowing where to start, it would be harder to know where to stop!
