Default 1909 Lookout PC :

This Chattanooga PC was written/addressed to Elmer Brooks in Kansas City. It appears he did not make the team and the Lookouts were going to ship his bball equipment back to him... I think Elmer played Class C or D ball that year while the Lookouts won the South Atlantic A League.

Default Lynchburg Shoemakers of the Virginia League

I assume that each of these cards pictures the same ballplayer - please let me know if my assumption is incorrect.

Default 1939 Paramount Clothes photo "card" of ...

Mickey Vernon of the Springfield (Mass.) Nationals, where he hit .343 in 69 games before being called up by the Wash. Senators to appear in 76 games during his rookie season. If there were a HOF for really nice guys who were also very good ballplayers, Vernon would be a charter member.
