Usually I stay out of this type of discussion, but I just got charged $12.22 for s&h&ins. on a $125 T3. How in the world do you get a number like that? Is it possible to ship on the Concorde?

He better be shipping via Fedex or UPS overnight or 2nd day air.

Even priority mail would be no more then $4.00 and on $125, the postal insurance will cost $3.00.

I've contacted sellers who don't put exactly what the postage will be and if I don't get an exact number in response I won't bid in those auctions - this is why.

When I sell a card I usually charge $1-$2 to ship, but if someone wants to send an SASE, I am fine with it. A bigger card like a T3 I could see at $3 regular mail or a bit more with enhanced service. Whats the name of the scoundrel who charged 10% of the bid to ship?

He responded that he works for the shipping company, which uses UPS, and that this was actually a discount.
