Default Question about T206's graded with pinholes

Would you guys purchase a graded T206 with a pin hole if the card still looked amazing without the hole? Also do they always grade a pinholed card as a 1 when it comes to the big 3 grading companies?

I have seen cards with pinholes grade as high as a 3. I personally don't think that pinholes detract too badly from a card, and love finding a gorgeous card at a low grade/price due to a small pinhole. There are many guys who share my sensibilities. There are others, of course, that shudder at the thought of a pinhole. I can totally live with a pinhole, but can't stand bad centering or an "altered" grade for any reason. It really comes down to value and personal preference.

I feel the same way about as you do about altered grades.

For a lower condition collector a pinhole can be a blessing to the budget and offers the possibility of having a decent looking card otherwise. As far as grading companies, I don't know the policies, but I have always thought that the amount of pinholes should matter, as well as the size.

No one likes a tackhole...(except me. I say tackhole, schmackhole, bring it on)

According to PSA's grading definitions, any card with a hole (that's not supposed to be there) gets an automatic Poor 1.

This Young is a blazer and I should've kept it (like all the other cards). I'll take these all day!
