Default The T206 Collection: The Players & Their Stories- Tris Speaker

Ya'll might remember a book we helped promote for a great cause (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), The T206 Collection: The Players & Their Stories by Tom Zappala and Ellen Zappala, and with the assistance of Lou Blasi. I have been in contact with Tom recently and he is going to send over some video clips they make, which I will post for the board to see. He went onto say:

" One more thing, overall, the reviews on our book The T206 Collection: The Players & Their Stories by your members have been positive, with the exception of some complaints about us using reprints (excluding the last chapter). We made that decision, because we wanted the images to be consistent. The book focus is on the player stories rather than the cards.

However, with that being said, and because of the constructive response, our next project which will be out in the fall of 2013 on the Cracker Jack
Collection, will have authentic images. Please thank everyone for their
help. This next book will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the
collection. We will be working with Frito Lay, who own the Cracker Jack
brand. Again thanks for your support. Tom and Ellen Zappala"

For the moment I am not going to figure out how to embed the video but will try to do it for future videos.....I am not very techy

Like I'm the "techie" type... but here goes:

The key is you want to pick up the Embed link from Youtube. Then just post that in the body of this message board. (Other sites do handle this a little differently.)

Wonderful news on the Cracker Jack book, I would love to see them keep going with other sets too!

How about T205, an "E" card editon and then move right into the 1933 Goudeys?
