All Sweet Caporal backs have that, though it's more prominent/noticeable in some than in others.

Default A related question

All normal T206 cards with Sweet Caporal backs have that effect. A related question that may perk up the T206 nuttybuddykin crowd would be: are there any Sweet Caporal backs that do NOT have this ghosting? It seems like I remember seeing a card like that, but that could just be hazy cigarette daydreams.

I think the one you're remembering did have the shadow effect on the text, but it was worn off in most areas. I figured it was due to a bad soak.
