Default Show & Tell -- Pre-War Advertisements

I picked up these two newspapers from a vintage newspaper dealer a few months back. Finally got around to scanning the one with tape on it; couldn't scan the other one since it is in a complete newspaper, but I took pics with my camera phone. These are neat... anybody else got anything like 'em?

Those Hindu ads say there are 150 subjects. How does that compare with the master set the Board has been working on? I wonder how Hindu Reds were packaged... any ideas why two colors?

RAY

The Brown HINDU's were printed with the 150 Series cards and at least 37 Southern Leaguers.
The Red HINDU's are only associated with 350/460 Series cards and were printed at the end of the
production run.

Here is an original EPDG adv. from my T206 collection.....

Funny that in all the Hindu advertisements the names were placed on the top border and not the bottom. Is this the case in other tobacco brands advertisements?

I just wish my great-great grandparents had purchased a couple of Fan Craze games, not opened them, left them in a dresser drawer, and willed them to me.
