Default A beautiful Gehrig ball on Flea Bay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Lou-Gehrig-Autog...item414d784f6c

Needless to say I turned that one in..

also, on the Babe Ruth autographs, we have a SCAT authentic Cut, which also has been reported. Ah, its fun looking for forgeries and being mean, isn't it? haha.

The Gehrig came from an estate sale, must have been someone died who bought something from the Roaches.
I just reported it also.

We should have a thread just for fakes.... No matter if ebay or wherever... kinda like the monthly pick-ups... except current fake listings.

Kudos to Scott, Richard and everyone else here, who reports this stuff to Ebay (and helps get the garbage removed). You are providing a valuable service, and are making the hobby a better place. Definitely worth the effort!

Back in the '70s you guys were called "narcs". Let's hear it for the Net54 Autograph Narcs!

Haha.

I honestly don't think Richard or anyone of us wants recognition, just what we all do. The end of these darn crooks and their garbage. Yeah, the buyers have responsibility too to know what they are buying, but they wouldn't have as much responsibility if these scum would go away.

When I have free time, I continue to search ebay, with big names, like Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle and others, and if a questionable one is here, I'll contact someone or post it here. Otherwise, I report it, if its blatant.
