Default Baseball Postcards

Not a postcard guy, but, rainy and bored here today so I went to a postcard show to get out of the house. Picked up these two postcards, one is a 1948 Braves team postcard in beautiful condition, the other a postcard of the ?CSNS? baseball team which I thought looked pretty cool even with the writing on it. If anyone has more information on the CSNS card I would really appreciate feedback. Thanks as always.

I collect old generic postcards such as yours. There are literally millions of them. Unless there is something on the card itself, that will help identify it, your odds are very, very long anyone will know more. Good luck in the hunt.

The SNS part is almost surely “State Normal School”. Colorado? California? Connecticut?

Default Thanks

Thanks Leon and Dan. I really bought it because of the subject and the fact that I actually liked the "old style" writing that is on the postcard (well that and I thought the Braves postcard needed a partner ). The dealer had it discounted because of the writing and I saw it as an addition rather than a subtraction.

I also have done some basic research and I agree with you Dan, some "Normal School" and my intuition was the same regarding something along the lines of "Connecticut State Normal School" or "Colorado State Normal School" but it's all a guess as Leon implied in his feedback given the many ball clubs back in the day.

I enjoy the discussion on this site and appreciate the knowledge that is shared. Thanks again.
