Default T206 sovereign 460 back

Trying to get thoughts on how scarce this back is and how it stacks up against other uncommon backs. Cycle, tolstoi, american beauty, carolina brights, etc....

Kevin,

Below is a scaricty list created by fellow board member Jim R and others.

I think its a good rule of thumb to go by but I would say and Jim has also said that 15-20 could be mixed around a dozen different ways. It has a lot to do with certain collectors experiance some folks will tell you they have had an easier time with one or the other.

Cobb is listed because Burdick listed him no other reason.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

John

Default SOVEREIGN 460 cards

Jim's list is very accurate.

However, there are two levels of difficulty with T206's with the SOVEREIGN 460 back. The Six Super-Prints [Chance (yellow portrait),
two Chase's (blue & dark cap), red Cobb, Evers (yellow sky), and Matty (dark cap)] are significantly tougher to find with the SOV 460
back than the 46 regular cards in the SOVEREIGN 460-Only series.

Default T206 sovereign 460 back

Kevin,

I personally think Sovereign 460 is pretty easy to obtain. I would rank them on the same level as Tolstoi, maybe even a little easier.

I realize that the 350/460 Super Prints are quite difficult with a Sovereign 460 back, but the regular print commons with Sovereign 460 backs are not difficult at all - they're on ebay quite frequently. I'm a die hard backs collector so I seek them out, but I don't think they are generally very popular with collectors. In fact, I've pick a few up off ebay recently for almost no premium.

FYI - I sold three Sovereign 460s on the B/S/T back in January and February. They moved fairly quickly, but not as fast as one would think.

Just my two cents.

Steve
