In the sellers description it says.. "I bought this card in california".. if you replace the word "bought" with "made".. then maybe i would believe it

Default Fake Red Cobb

Forget all the "B-S".....it's a FAKE.....all you need to see is that it has a "Sweet Cap 150" back, to prove it's a FAKE.

The Red Cobb was printed ONLY in the 350 and 460 Series.

It's got the same bogus flip as the fake green Cobb we saw yesterday. Why don't these scammers get a real job -- or at least file a bogus disability lawsuit after picking up some particularly heavy strawberries at Walmart -- instead of committing card fraud?

Now that was funny...You know those strawberries can weigh a ton. I am working on a disability suit against my local grocery store for picking up a bunch of grapes. Hopefully I can find a good double wide and live happily ever after.

Leon, it's a stick built ranch, it may look like a doublewide, but it has never had wheels under it.

I'm just curious. What is PSA's policy on fake slabs? Will they still buy the card from you and destroy it like they would with encapsulated fakes that made it through? Or are you on your own?

You should be on your own as PSA had nothing to do with the fake slab, how could they be liable for that??

Now them slabbing a fake card is on them.

I actually believe this guys story about buying card from guy in California probaly Jose Hernandez. I bought a 52 bowman Mantle from probaly same guy. I remember him also having the same Cobb Red. He also had other Mantles Ruths. Just sad that this guy now is trying to sell it to unknowing person. 100% fake

Packs,

Just curious, why do you suggest that PSA would have a policy on fake slabs that would protect you? Of course, they need to cooperate with the authorities to protect their brand name, but they have no part in the scam, so they should have no responsibility to buy any fakes back from a customer.

(Note- I don't even particularly like PSA and I don't think it's their responsibility.)

Interested to hear your thoughts.

Blaming PSA for fake slabs would be like blaming Rolex for fake watches. Why would it be their problem? It would be the sellers or venues (e-bay) concern.

Is there a method to tell whether or not the slab was faked or if the card slipped by? I wasn't trying to imply that PSA would be liable. I just figured a company wouldn't want fake slabs floating around on the open market, and may want to eliminate them.

Pack, The flip is counterfeit, The text layout was all wrong. This implies a used PSA slab was cracked, refilled and resealed.

I don't know the answer to your PSA buy-back question. But the company would need a gov't bailout if they bought up all the counterfeits sold online.

It's all moot, listing removed... Though, it WILL reappear.
