Default Mother of all jockey cap cards…c1880…Not a card collector per se but this one had me…

Above is my latest p/u…a c1880 die cut jockey cap card…no makers marking…I figure it must be the mother of all jockey cap cards.….Got off eBay…I saw it and it had me immediately….I just had to wait a week to see where it would go…nada…I was the only bidder...

I lost those great 1880 football cards I got a couple months back in a trade+cash deal…so this certainly helps me get over them…Generally I like bigger things like posters…I don’t often see cards that hit me. Some of you may remember about a year ago I got a dance card with a die cut leather helmet that I’m still wild about.

I don't know quite what to do with cards...I can't handle puting them in a binder and putting them away...I have to be able to see them...so I prop them up here and there where I can enjoy looking at them.

OK I had my little excursion...now back to my National story...it's looking pretty good...hopefully I'll have the first part posted soon.
