Actually, I believe that's an R311. I would say that Gil is being quite conservative. A nice Greenberg (VgEx-Ex) would probably grab $75-100.

Yes Anson I mis-typed the number it is a R311. I thought $40.00 was conservative also.

Thanks for the catch on the card.

Well guys, I am surprised that the Greenburg goes that high. I had based my estimate on a R311 leather Foxx which I picked up several months ago for $45. I guess that I figured that Foxx was more desireable than Greenburg, maybe he isn't. Or maybe I got a good price - now that would be a change - the Foxx is fantastic - he never looked more beastly! Check the card out.

Greenberg has the Jewish factor going for him. You can always count on paying a premium for Jewish players, commons or HOFers. Just watch the crazy prices for Jewish players in the Obak and Zeenut sets.

I like to sit outside, drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home, I would be arrested. So, I go to baseball games and fit right in.

Gil, I think you got a smoking deal on the Foxx. Premiums and Exhibits are really taking off. I'm still choking on the $11,000+ the R314 PSA 7 Dimaggio got in the last Memory Lane auction. These cards are very brittle and tend to fetch bid $ in nice shape, especially in EX or better condition.
