Shouldn't it be mandatory that the word reprint appear in the item header?
It appears that some bidders are not aware that these are reprints or
are these cards actually worth these prices? Thanks

The item description clearly spells out that the cards are re-prints; if the bidder doesn't take time to read that, can you fault the seller??

I'll blame the bidder AND the seller. Sure the bidder should read the description, reprint is obvious, but I can't help but think that somewhere in the back of the seller's mind he/she knows they are being somewhat duplicitous, something that might be avoided if they just put "reprint" in the title. I won't bother to look at the bidding history, but at those prices there's either shill shenanigans, and if not, then a fair and decent seller should be rethinking their customer relations, not rubbing their hands together.

If the buyer doesn't read the description, then its his/her own fault for being so stupid. you can't fault the seller because it clearly says "WILL RECEIVE IS A 4 CARD LOT OF T206 REPRINT CARDS" and also the cards clearly look like reprints on top of that to begin with lol. I mean come on here, its not rocket science.

Well yeah sure, the buyer is clearly "lacking" (to be kind about it) in this case. But if I walked into your store and said, "Sure, I want to pay you $160 for this piece of
s%*@ Mathewson", I'd like to think you'd have the decency to say, "Hey Dumb F%*@, I'd love to take your money but let me be somewhat fair about it and set you somewhat more straight, rather than the partially bent you seem to be." On ebay it's somewhat different than a physical store, but to me it's still like the seller is giving the finger to the buyer from the safety of his car, knowing he's driving off.

*edited to have fun with expletive symbols.

this seller is streching ethics,he clearly is selling doctored reprints and these will in time filter down as the real thing, a problem indeed!

If you look at this sellers feedback on purchases only, you will find most of them to be-guess what?-- reprints. The cards he is buying are marked reprints though, I wonder how the reprints he's selling "lost" the reprint wording. Are those erasure marks where the "reprint" was?

Matty went for $158.26

McGraw went for $90.19

Two different "winning" bidders.

I'm more concerned with the common players
showing up in the market than the premiums.
Commons are bought ungraded often on EBay.

$20 for an ungraded common player in
decent looking shape would sell.

i think that this seller prays on the "i want to believe" ebay buyer.i just noticed that the buyer of the 4 card lot just bought some play balls from me.i am sure he skipped over the these are reprints in the discription or assumed they were real as they are listed in the pre 1930 section.

Did anyone notice that the T206 reprints were listed in a 1930's category?

Do you think that the seller might have "accidentaly" put it there so he wouldn't be accused of false advertising if he put it in a category where original T206's should go.
