Figured I would get it started so the guys and gals coming back from Anaheim would have a place to show their purchases.
I had a decent week, BINed a super tough T205 Moran stray line in off-condition for $50, got an E94 color variation I needed cheap as well as a creaseless T210 for $20. Andrew sold me a nice vgex E93 Gibson and I also picked up 4 more 1911 Zeenuts.

This is my bargain from the National. 40 bucks. And despite what the label says, it's a Tharps, not a Yeunglings.

in 3 days-- 2 mountain dews, 4 water, 1 ice cream cone, and 1 e103 matty.

edited to add I overpaid for the matty but it was still a bargain compared to what the Mountain Dew, water and ice cream went for.

Nice card Quan, did you have to mortgage the homestead? Who did you buy it from?

I saw that E103 Matty on Thursday and did not pull the trigger. Then it haunted me all night. I went straight to get it on Friday when I arrived and as I got to the table, Quan was sewing up the deal. I was minutes too late. But I know Quan will trade it or sell it to me someday.

It was from Wayne Varner, he had lots of prewar stuff not seen on his website and they sold VERY fast. I thought prices were about 10-15% higher than market but with some of these stuff you buy what you could now. Wayne was actually marking up prices on Friday because his stuff was selling too fast.

Topps actually made two errors: they printed "Jimmy" and they destroyed a vintage bat that can never be replaced. Shame on them on both counts.
