Just a quick note on this show: I decided to set up at this show at the last minute based on a recommendation from the lovely folks at Bagger's Auctions, and I'm really impressed. It's a nice, intimate show, the kind of community show that Anthony, Jason and Adam are building in Los Angeles. It's mostly vintage material, from prewar through the 70s, along with a nice selection of display material and memorabilia.

If you're anywhere near here, it would definitely be worth the trip, even if only to support the job Paul Fusco is doing by keeping this show thriving.

I visited today! I spent some time at Uncle Dick's table upgrading some sets. It was a pretty similar crowd to the Pittsburgh/Robert Morris show in May. Since it was at the Holiday Inn, it was a tad crowded and tough sometimes to move around, but very nice. A two hour drive with $17 in tolls well worth making for me!

Al, where was your table located? We might have chatted.

Regards,
Kevin

Hi Kevin:

I'm in the back of the room, directly across from the BCW Supplies table.

I think that I might have asked you about 1934-36 Batter Up cards - if you were the one that I am thinking of - you had many nice pre-war. There was another one across from the supplies that was selling post war and had a few sets for sale (and some very inexpensive modern unopened boxes and 80's sets).
Good times

Yep, that was me (the guy you asked about the Batter Ups). I remember talking with you briefly.

For me it was a good day at this show. I didn't stay long, but had a enjoyable time talking with some of my friends (collectors and dealers) who I only get to see once or twice a year.

Nice selection of cards and in my opinion, a good number of collectors in attendance.

I was able to pick up a few cards for my set and was pleased overall with the show.

I'll be up there Saturday around noon. Look for a Grady Sizemore Indians jersey walkin' around gawking at stuff I can't afford to buy. I'll be there with Bryan Long, another Net54 member.

Very nice show on Saturday. Met a few Net54 members and some guys from my online trading groups. I didn't buy too much, but did pick up an M101-4 Mack for my HOF collection, a '62T Mantle, and a few others.

Anyone else have luck?
