Maybe it's just me, but after the first few pages of photos you can no longer click and enlarge any of the photos from page 3 on. I. get an error 404 message.

Same issue here... can't blow up the photos either. Thanks so much for posting these!

Quick question for Carlton... is it Hunt's who had the ornate Athletics Lamp with the elephants at the base?

Default National

Great photos Carlton. I went to the national (my first) this year, and was pretty impressed, but seeing your photos, I missed alot of stuff. I think in Baltimore, I am going to definitely make 2 days of it instead of 1. I didn't even see that pencil box display, or those 2 nice princeton display balls. I think I was more focused on selling than buying, and didn't browse as much as I should have.

Default Thank you

Carlton - thanks for continuing to document and report on the National. In my view, this event is the single best event in the hobby and you do such a great job with the stories and photos, allowing fellow collectors that aren't there to get a sense of what's happening at the show. I am sure that I speak for many - thank you. We are all aware of the hard work it takes every year to interview, document, and post.

PS - the only reporting I did this year was hear you commit to the story being posted before next Easter! We all await anxiously.

Default Lamp

Hey Mark - if you reply with the link to the lamp photo, I will let you know whether it was in David's booth or not. If not, I might be able to clarify who the seller was.

Ryan,
Wasn't that Athletics lamp in Brian D's booth or was it Daryl?

Mark,
I'm pretty sure that isn't Hunts booth. Did you see the Tip Top piece?

Default Lamp

Yes, that's what I was thinking, however, I just wanted to see the photo first. If you recall, Darrell had the Hartford lamp....I dont believe he had a Philly lamp. You actually had you eye on the Hartford lamp. Again, once we see the photo Mark is reffering to, I think we can confirm.

Mark, do you know Darrell O'Mary?

Default Mystery solved

The lamp was in Bryan Dec's booth. Not sure if the lamp was Bryan's or the seller that shares a booth with Bryan.

Carlton -

Thanks for all of the hard work that you put into our hobby. It was an absolute blast to have you guys hanging at our booth all day. Many people had better goods at the show, but we had a killer group of guys to hang with from sun-up to sun-down. Thanks to all of you for making Cleveland so much fun.

I just hate the orange leisure chairs didn't make the photo cut!!!

Thanks Sundevil and Mike for all the help...

Here's the link to the A's Lamp I was referring to. It was indeed in Bryan Dec's Booth, and we just struck a deal! Could not have done it without your help...

Many thanks again to Carlton for his fine work in documenting the National... definitely the next best thing to being there in person!

Default Thanks All

Hey Everybody, Thanks for all your appreciation and kind words...I'm very glad to hear you're enjoying the show. I think got all the pages fixed. Boy that was a National trip....I was gone ten days, and it seemed like one it went by so fast. Well next comes the written. I'll be including photos of the Net54 dinner, plus at the end of the story I'll be a featuring someone's collection (name under wraps)...and it'll be an eye popper! -Carlton
