Default New T206 Publication

Posted By: Scot Reader

All,

I have just completed a 74-page manuscript entitled "Inside T206" that contains my observations on the set after detailed study between 2003 and 2005 including a front/back survey of thousands upon thousands of T206 cards sold on ebay. Included is a checklist that differs from previous attempts in numerous respects, including the identification of a new series of six "superprinted" 350/460 subjects, reassignment of certain subjects to different series and a more precise identification of the backs available on subjects. Also included are discussions of the relative difficulty of subjects and more than a few theories on the set that I don't think have aired before and make for interesting reading assuming you are a T206 nut like me. An approximate distribution timeline estimated based on the team identifications of subjects and my musings on circulation, survivability, packaging and outlook are also provided. The manuscript is available in .pdf format by email for the asking. There is no charge, but if after reading the document anyone feels compelled they can send me a paypal as recompense for a minute or two of the over 1,000 hours I have burned on this project. Thanks.

Scot
