Default Snaphot of a baseball player?

This image was posted on a snapshot forum I belong to. The people there think it's a baseball player but so far no ID on who the guy signing autographs is. Anyone have a clue?

The key could be in identifying what that kid in the lower right corner is handing him. I imagine one of the pictures on that paper is our unknown fellow.

Two Hawaiian shirts and a Hawaiian dress.

It looks like the three adults are in line to board a train from Honolulu to San Francisco.

The deckle edged photo would suggest 1969 as the date.

But I could be wrong.

Try Bo Belinsky. He would fit the time period and Hawaii.

I am thinking movie star. The boy seems to be holding something with three posed images, none of which seems to be sports related.

Looks a bit like Tyrone Power though I do not believe that it is him.

Folks don't wear Hawaiian shirts going to Honolulu, only on the way home.

When did they upgrade from the Gondola that was in use at that time?
