I can't help but to Chuckle.
I can't help but automatically transport myself to 1990, and a little shop called Fantazia.

Fantazia was DR Koos laboratory of fantastic creations.
His research was mainly into comic books and high ended baseball cards.
I was there to try to convince the likeable DR. Koos that it might be a good idea to return my money in exchange for his well done creation. (exhibit A)
-- A recommendation by my counselor, and Fantazia's advertiser SCD's - Bob Lemke.
He eventually saw the wisdom of the plan, but that's another story.

While there, I obviously looked at the items in his display case.
One of the things that caught my eyes were a few auto T206's.

Autographed T206's in DR.Koos Den of Creations???

Josh:

This is one of those occasions where you were the only one that had the guts to ask what everyone else was thinking.

Only if you're into research.
If you're a newbie, and slabs and grading is your bag, don't bother with it.
However, if your curiosity and desire to learn is greater than what is it worth? -- I'll do you a favor, and let you do some digging. -- That's the way we did it before computers.
Here's the tip of the iceberg to your question.
There is more if you're interested.

Enter: KOOS, and search by MATCH.

Dr. Koos = Danny Dupcek?
August 27 2002 at 2:36 PM Bob Lemke (Login wi05)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I asked on another forum without getting any response, but does anybody here have credible information to prove or disprove any association between "Dr. Koos" and Danny Dupcek, who with another principal named, I believe, Skip Moses, operated a card/comics shop in metro New York (Yonkers?) known as Dragon's Den? Back when I was publisher of SCD, I threw Dupcek out as an advertiser. My recollection of his conduct, both personally and professionally, is strongly paralleled by this "Koos" character.
