Default 1905 The Index Supplement Giants vs Pirates

I was wondering how rare this supplement is? Please note that the individual photos of the individual players above the supplement were added later, and are not part of the original photo.

Thank you for all the valued input.

If it's an indication, I haven't seen or heard of it before.

Haven't seen that particular piece but I'm starting to get the impression that 1905 was a great year for panorama photos. It reminds me of the terrific Polo Grounds photo I won from Heritage last winter and which I posted here a few months ago. Link I have also seen a couple of other Polo Grounds views from the same year but not of Forbes Field. Very neat item.

Beautiful photo of the Polo Grounds David...and a very impressive room indeed!

I believe that the park pictured in the 1905 supplement is Exposition Park.

You're absolutely correct. I saw Giants and Pirates, knew it wasn't the Polo Grounds and said Forbes even though it didn't look right. I need to be more careful.

I believe the middle portion is a standalone supplement with the oval studio player pictures are glued to it.

David- I have the 1904 Chicago vs New York. It needs some touch-ups around the edges. It's like this one.

Absolutely correct Sporteq on the supplement being in the middle...The individual player photos are on the outside of the frame, applied on glass. Have you seen many of these supplements?

Thanks
