Default Thanks for the Lefty Grove Picture!

I received the Lefty Grove/Connie Mack picture below from another member of this board. (I am not going to reveal his name. He is free to reveal his name should he want to.) This member sent me the picture below expecting nothing in return. He simply confirmed my address and sent me the picture. The picture was framed and came with a certificate of authenticity indicating that it is a Type I photograph.

It is simply humbling to know what great members we have on this board. This particular member I met on a single occasion and had dinner with him. I know first hand what a great guy he is. So, THANK YOU for the picture! I really appreciate it!

Default Brad

Brad- thanks for sharing the story. That is what the hobby is all about to me. Kudo's to the mystery person too. It's nice to remember that our hobby, and this board, is mostly filled with very nice folks.

That's a really sharp image on that one, btw...

It may sound hokey, but I think of this board as one big (somewhat dysfunctional) family!
