We pretty much agree. Other than a couple that I chose that are more recent, we have the same groups. We just disagree on which one of their albums we prefer.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness -- Smashing Pumpkins
Ten -- Pearl Jam
The Bends -- Radiohead
Wish You Were Here -- Pink Floyd
Funeral -- Arcade Fire
Begin to Hope -- Regina Spektor

You an I have very similar tastes. My wife is a Tori Amos fan. I haven't listened to much of Arcade Fire, but I will have to take a closer look now.

When I was dating my now wife, she couldn't understand how I enjoyed Sigur Ros so much as their lyrics are either Icelandic or made up. She then accompanied me to a show during Hvarf/Heim and she completely flipped her script. Hoppípolla was played at our wedding.

Your list is pretty close. I might swap The Bends for In Rainbows, White Album for Revolver, and add Death Cab's Transatlanticism somewhere but that's about it. If you'd have told me I'd spend my 1,000th post 10 years ago talking about Sigur Ros I'd laugh at you, but here we are.

Happy Collecting

Steven Finley
