Default Completing T206 set with Wagner?

A number of distinguished and renowned T206 sets have been pieced together by this board. For those looking to do so, who do not have the resources required to add an actual Wagner card, do you add a reprint for this unattainable card? If so, which one (reprint) do you prefer?

There's some fun aged fakes on Etsy.

I like the one from "the Monster" reprint set from 1988. I believe that was put out by CCC. You can find a lot of those sets on eBay.

My uber-rare Broadleaf Wagner is the stuff dreams are made of! Not good dreams...just dreams where you wake up and don't remember anything...but dreams nonetheless!

Cool, I love the look of this RP. For the Wagner, and a half dozen others, I’m planning a few nice reprints just to have every card represented, card backs notwithstanding.

Took your advice and looked… here’s another interesting looking Wagner fake or “reprint” as they all seem to be called.

Nice! when it was intact, my 520 binder set also included a Plank reprint, and Wagner reprints with this Broadleaf, and Carolina Brights , Brown Hindu, Sweet cap, and Piedmont. Those last 4 are still for sale on this thread: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=322728

I would do an aged reprint as long as I could get it for next to nothing and it was sold as an aged reprint by someone not trying to deceive. I think that would look nicer along with the other cards I would have.
