Default Is This Postcard Historically Important?

Hey guys. Picked this up in a collection recently but need some direction. Please take a look at this pc and the note on the back and give some feedback as to whether or not this is an important piece. It will be for sale, I just need to gauge the value. Anyone who thinks they have an idea about value, please post here.
Thanks for your time,
Tony

Yes, that card includes an image of JL Wilkenson. A prominent owner of some negro league teams including the KC Monarchs and started the All Nations team. He is wearing a hat on the back row.

It's not a very rare postcard. Without the note it's probably +/- $50..
It's all about what someone will pay for the note on back.

Admittedly, there is some debate as to whether that is, in fact, JL Wilkinson. The note on the back is cool, but looks like it was produced many years later, so isn’t necessarily “provenance”. You’ll see these sell for upwards of $150-$250 at an auction house, but can be had for $50-$75 if you are patient and can wait for one to pop up on eBay…usually one shows up every one to two years or so. Trust me, I know!

I think it is very interesting that the notes does not indicate that Wilkerson is actually in the picture
