Default Is this carl mays card on ebay real?

Hello, I have a question about a card again. I collect kentucky related baseball player cards and there is a 1922 american caramel carl mays that was just posted. The seller dosen't appear to deal in baseball cards much so I thought I would post the link and get the boards opinion if they think it is real or not. I am not accusing the seller or anyone on the board of anything with this question I am just wondering everyones opinion since I am new to the prewar game just getting into it in the past two years. Thanks

Here's an E121-80 Mays I "borrowed" from Bobby's VCP site.

I don't know enough about E cards to tell you if the one on ebay is authentic. But I believe E121-80's were issued in 1921.

And I have a W502 Carl Mays available for sale somewhere on the BST ... send me a PM or email if you might have an interest.

Best Regards,
Craig

Default Looks good

The Mays card looks authentic. Be aware that there is a partially erased '1921' in the bottom right corner.

The card may also be trimmed.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the help everyone. I did notice that erase mark in the bottom corner and I thought when they showed the back scan that it looked a little un even. That is okay though because it will just keep the price down hopefully.
