but ... but .... Beckett is garbage!!! They don't know what they're doing! They can't grade or authenticate! If its in a BVG holder it must be because it couldn't get into a PSA or SGC holder, right!?!?

p.s. congrats on your flips

Did you send the BVG cards to PSA in the holders or crack them out?

$1000 says they were cracked out. No way PSA would give a higher grade in another companies slab. I second how tough BVG grades. I cracked out a 1974 Dave Parker of an SGC 9 hoping for a 9.5 and it got a BVG 7!!

Totally cracked them out ( the BVGs and the KSA).

You could tell the BVG were too harshly graded. I thought the KSA was a 4-4.5 ( paid for it like a 3.5).

Old BVG grades were strict as hell. The issue was that the graders seemed to grade wear on the same plane as a modern pack fresh glossy card. You won't find any examples of BVG 4-5s that look like they were run over by a car like some PSA examples. I run BVG searches all the time.

In a need for some quick family finances I sold a 2.5 BVG red cobb on the BST a little more than a year ago that should have been an easy PSA 4 looking at the mess on eBay. Regret that one now as they of course jumped big right after, oh well.
