The seller suggests cracking out and resubmitting...

The risk would be too great for me.

If one was positive and I mean positive there were no issues that would lower the grade then maybe, but what is the difference in price between a 6 and a 7? If it's a t206 common yes but a card of this value, I'm not sure it would pay to crack it out. IMO

PSA loves to hit high grade cards with MC and OC. The closeness of the bat to the top border would concern me here. I do think that the example presents well for a '6'....but for a card this expensive, it pays to exercise caution.

Regards,
Scott

If you look closely, there appears to be a wrinkle to the left(our left)of Cap's belt. Therefore, don't believe it would get a 7 if resubmitted.

edited to add: One of my pet peeves is when a seller has a high priced card, but can't spring for the 15 cents to add a back scan?

Why didn't the seller upgraded it? If you buy it with the intent of trying to get it into a higher holder, you may want to try and cross it to SGC to verify that it is not altered first. You can then crack it out of the SGC holder to send to PSA if you feel that it will go into a 7 holder. This will take a bit more time, but you will be buying insurance.

Yes, if I bought that I'd crack it out.

I would not resubmit it for grading.

If you're cracking it to resubmit then I think you're taking a big chance. You never know what they'll find wrong with the card the next time around. Who knows, one of those kids just might think it's trimmed. The card presents very nicely. Who cares what the grade is. If you're doing it to make a few dollars then you need to consider the downside of cracking and resubmitting.

Why crack any card out if there is any risk? PSA will review cards in the case and bump them if they
are deserving. Full bumps and half point bumps have been received.

Leave it as is. Too much could go wrong.
