Re-retired.

30 years in the education finance business, moved to the Eastern Sierras, got bored, worked 4 months for the USPS, that was enough of that. Grow vegetables, build the occasional bamboo fly rod, chase a few fish.

Baseball writer covering the Pirates entire organization from the lowest level of the minors on up. Proof of how low in the system I go is this three part series I just posted http://www.piratesprospects.com/2013...-to-watch.html Fun articles to write, especially talking to people who watched/scouted them all year

I own an antiques and collectibles shop for the past year...before that I owned a video store for 27 years. Netflix, Redbox and the internet finally did me in, but I am proud to say that I outlasted every mom and pop, Hollywood, and almost all of the Blockbuster stores in my town.

Great thread! Very interesting and impressive folks on here (and thx to those who serve or have served our country). I am closing in on nearly 25 years in the municipal bond industry in various roles - managing mutual funds, inst'l sales or trading for several large banks. Continue to coach my 3 kids in numerous sports (baseball, softball, hoops, flag football, etc), spend quality time with my wife and collect my beloved cubs (autographs, t-cards, memorabilia from pennant and WS champ teams). Enjoy meeting or emailing with other collectors! Best, Kit

My '97. Not so much stock anymore as you can see the Screamin Chicken, S&S and Rinehart parts. My family has been riding/racing Harley since 1921. Hope you have good benefits because if not, this World is shy of good Harley mechs, especially Harley. Ever think about going solo?

Default Previous life..

Retired once in 2003, did a life sentence with the Vancouver Police Dept. Took six months off and then went back to work as an Investigator for a computer software company for eight years. Retired again about a year ago, and trying hard to keep it that way. Smart enough to keep my wife working, but not smart enough to come up with a Rose RC at an affordable price yet.

Lawyer

Unfortunely I wanted to go to law school but then figured out I didn't want to be an attorney. Loved law school, the practice of law is trying at times.

Should have been a teacher/professor.

Wouldn't trade one day of the last year for ANY of the previous 25 yrs., even at 1/3 the pay!
